Registration now open for EEH's annual conference
We're delighted to announce that registration for England’s Economic Heartland’s annual conference is now open.
The free-to-attend conference is being held this year at Cambridge Guildhall on 1 November.
It provides the opportunity for partners across the region to come together and set out our expectations and plans for strategic connectivity and infrastructure for the year ahead.
Hear from expert speakers and meet high-level delegates including MPs, local authority leaders and their chief executives, transport sector operators and experts, business and university leaders, and senior government officials.
This year’s event promises to be the most exciting yet:
- With the government’s focus on innovation-led UK economic growth, we’ll have a business-led panel on how improved connectivity can ensure our world-leading science and technology clusters continue to flourish.
- EEH will be detailing the opportunities we are making available to all local authority partners to help prepare ambitious yet deliverable local transport plans
- We’ll be shining a light on innovation: showcasing the great work of our local authorities while also asking what the future of mobility holds for the region
- And we’ll be examining how improved connectivity can make our places greener and more liveable.
There will be opportunities for audience participation through the extensive use of panel discussions, Q&As and breakout rooms.
We're also excited to announce that following the main event, there will be a networking event especially for early career professionals to meet one another and hear from inspiring speakers.
More details on the programme, alongside comprehensive travel advice, will be shared soon – but for now, please do register to attend!
